Why track certificates of insurance

A certificate of insurance (COI) proves a sub or vendor carries the coverage your job and your own policy require. When a sub's COI lapses and they get hurt on your site, the claim can roll uphill to you. Tracking expirations is how you stay ahead of that.

How the color coding works

Expired the certificate has already lapsed
7 days expires within a week, chase the renewal now
14 days expires within two weeks
30 days expires within a month, put it on the list
